Such a simple and sweet portrait but it hits you with a thousand bricks. The lighting in the image is fantastic and suggests duality of a person, the battle of good versus evil that exists inside of every person. The same thing is then also achieved by the backdrop which is partly the wall, and partly dark bookeh.

Skin tone is lovely, dark and faded but yet retains saturation and is quite warm and inviting. The blonde in the hair, red in the bow and lips also bring back the warmth that was drained away from the cold stare of the eyes. Which brings me to the my favorite thing about this portrait, the eyes. They are absolutely mesmerizing.

All in all a simple, but very eloquent portrait. Often times such pictures speak volumes about the persona of the model. Great work.

Wonderful portrait of this beautiful model. I would personally tone down the texture on this photo. I looks like you have used some kind of HDR effect on it, and the skin text is just too much. It is distracting. But the overall colour and contrast is great. Good work.

The texture and grain are so tangible, and the muted colours, especally of the flesh tones and grey walls, combine wih the soft lighting, yet high-relief- highy-defined shadows, all give the picture much depth The expression is wonderful, if not ambiguous - here too is an inner depth of character that we can only guess at, an inner intensity of life. The model is stunning, but more than superficial glamour. There is intelligence and candour. Love it.
