First I have to say that the model that you used is absolutely lovely, I can see why you use her so much. The lighting of this photograph is what caught me first and I loved how it was focused on her face and then a bit blurred further down and around. The detail in her face is exquisite and I definitely got the feel and emotion that was portrayed with her facial expression and you captured it so amazingly. I particularly like the hair and how it flowed in the wind. You go this shot in a way that is hard now a days. I love it.
Had to comment, Love your expressive photos that evoke inner feelings from looking at your work. I would love to be able to use your work for references to lighting and shading for future drawings and paintings with your permission. I think your photography captures a timeless mood that will not ever get out dated by trend. Beautiful.
Looking at this photo I feel like I'm not getting enough air. It reminded me of some recent shit I had to go through and I literally felt like there's emotions in my throat, blocking the way, that I can't breathe. The contrast between the girl's hair, flowing freely in the air and her face, trapped in feelings is very special. I've noticed it's often that way, the sorrounding world seems so peaceful and pretty and fresh while on the inside we can feel squished, tightened up by what we feel. Physically we can but in out minds we cannot escape anywhere because feelings have us bound up. Hm, I hope this comment didn't come out too, erm, crazy... I just feel things, I guess. ^^'
