simply stunning. beautiful contrast and work with lines. And the reflection makes you wonder if it's really a reflection. I find the girl's expression to model both something null and something striking all at once. Wonderful use of the headpiece and old wood, and I really love how the girl seems to be painting with some invisible brush.
My one complaint is how distracting the windows are. Especially the one on the right. The heavy light detracts from the strike of the subject, however, since such lighting was needed, i do not believe you could have done anything to change this scenario.
Altogether, great composition, loved the piece, very intriguing.
The dark, edgy contrast but also the soft light. It is so atmospheric. Everytime you take a look you see something new. The way the reflection in the mirror has a soft, almost not noticable motion blur makes it seem like the reflection is trying to move on while the person still stands still, like waiting.
Only thing I would "criticize" is the open mouth of the model. I maybe would have prefered a shout mouth, a head turned a little more to the camera or something. But thats like more personal opinion and favor
Wow this is amazing! Love how picture is b/w to emphasise the lines and silhouette. Beautifully placed with light coming through window and passing through fabric into the mirror.
